Radiator homes welcome

Ductless Mini-Splits in Everett

Bring warmth and cooling to each room through slim indoor heads, with no ducts to build and very little to open up.

No Ducts in the House? Is That a Problem?

Not in the slightest. Plenty of older homes grew up with radiators or baseboard and never had a single duct, and ductless mini-splits were invented for exactly those houses. An outdoor heat pump links through a hole about the width of a coffee mug to indoor heads that hang up near the ceiling line, sit low beside the floor or tuck into the ceiling itself. Each head looks after its own room or open area, so the bedroom you like cool and the living room you like toasty stop fighting over one thermostat. That zoning suits two-families and triple-deckers too, where each apartment wants its own control. The real skill lies in deciding how many heads you actually need. More is not automatically better: a head too large for a small bedroom will cycle on and off and feel damp in summer. We size each area by its own heat loss, then plan line routes so the outside stays neat and the inside stays hidden wherever possible. Mini-splits can count toward the Mass Save rebate when they meet program rules, and the 0% HEAT Loan can help with the rest. Your plan lists every head, its room and the total before work starts.

What a Mini-Split Job Includes

From the first tape measure to the last remote control lesson, this is the ground we cover.

  • Sizing per room

Each area measured so every head matches the space it serves.

  • Head style choice

Wall, floor or ceiling units chosen to suit the room's shape and furniture.

  • Outdoor unit plan

Single-zone or multi-zone equipment placed away from drifts and footpaths.

  • Discreet line routes

Refrigerant and drain lines covered on the outside and tucked away indoors.

  • Condensate handled

Summer moisture piped to where it belongs instead of down a wall.

  • Apartment zoning

Separate control for every unit in a multi-family building.

  • Program fit

Layout and models checked against Mass Save rules when a rebate is in play.

  • Remote and filter lesson

Modes, schedules and when to rinse the filters, shown in person.

How Do We Plan a Ductless Layout?

  1. Tour the house together

Room by room, we note how each space is used and where warmth slips away, then decide which rooms need a head and which can share.

  2. Write the layout

The proposal lists every head, the outdoor equipment, the line paths and the price, along with any rebate and HEAT Loan figures.

  3. Install and teach

Units are mounted and connected, tested in both heating and cooling, and you learn to run each zone yourself.
